Yesterday, there were two important news stories for the Surgical Instruments industry. The first one was of Intuitive Surgical Inc. - the industry leader in surgical robotics that has reported second quarter revenue of $351 million, up from $261 million for the same period last year and the second one was from Abbott that has announced financial results for the Q2, confirming double-digit earnings growth outlook for 2010.
