Visions for Tomorrow This 8-12 week course is offered to parents of youth with behavioral and emotional challenges. The course includes discussion of a variety of brain disorders (e.g. ADHD, Bipolar, PDD, ODD, etc). The course is taught by parents who have lived with or are living with the challenge of raising a youth with one of these disorders, and includes information on organizing important information about your youth, record keeping, communication skills, self-care, problem management, rehabilitation, recovery and transition, advocacy, judicial and societal stigma, and sharing of life experiences.
Communities of Care offers this course in partnership with PAL (Parent-Professional Advocacy League) and is available in both English and Spanish.
